Terms

The service

Kasse gives you a read-only, aggregated view of your own financial accounts. It is a tracking tool, not a bank, not financial advice, and not a budgeting methodology. Balances and transactions are reported by your institutions via Plaid and may be delayed or incomplete; your bank's own records are authoritative.

Your account

You need a Kasse account to use the dashboard. You're responsible for the sign-in credentials you use and for the banks you connect. You must own, or be authorized to view, every account you link.

Free and Pro

• Free — one connected institution, 90 days of transaction history, the full dashboard. No card required.
• Pro — $7/month — unlimited institutions, full synced history (~24 months), the recurring/subscriptions view, and CSV export. Billed monthly through Stripe; cancel anytime in the billing portal and Pro stays active until the paid period ends.

Downgrading or cancellation never deletes your data — it re-applies the free-tier limits. Disconnecting a bank deletes that institution's stored data.

Acceptable use

Don't connect accounts you don't own, don't probe or abuse the API, don't resell access. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other users at risk.

Availability and liability

We aim for a reliable instrument, but the service is provided as-is without warranty. Bank connections can break (password changes, institution downtime) — Kasse surfaces that state but can't prevent it. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for decisions made from the data shown, or for indirect damages.

Changes

If these terms change materially we'll say so on this page before they take effect. Continued use after that means acceptance.
