Kasse is a read-only personal finance tracker. This page is the short, plain version of how your data moves.

Your bank credentials never touch us

When you connect a bank, you enter your credentials inside Plaid's hosted flow — on their infrastructure, not ours. Kasse never sees, stores, or can access your bank username or password. We receive a read-only access token from Plaid that lets us pull your data on your behalf.

What we store

• Your account email and sign-in details (managed by Supabase Auth).
• Read-only Plaid access tokens for each connected institution, kept server-side — they are never sent to your browser.
• Your accounts, balances, and transactions as reported by Plaid — the data the dashboard shows you.
• Your plan (free or Pro) and Stripe customer id if you subscribe. Card details live only inside Stripe's hosted checkout — we never see them.

What we never do

• We never sell or share your financial data with third parties.
• We never move money — the access is read-only by design.
• We never run ads or feed your data to ad networks.

Deleting your data

Disconnecting a bank on the dashboard revokes the Plaid access token and deletes that institution's accounts, transactions, and recurring streams from our database — immediately, not on a schedule. To remove your Kasse account entirely, disconnect all banks and email support@outerscope.xyz and we will delete the rest.

Processors

Data flows through three processors, each doing one job: Plaid (bank connections and transaction data), Supabase (sign-in and the database), and Stripe (Pro payments). Each handles only what it needs to.
